Print Sizing Guide
Aspect ratios and print sizes are key to displaying artwork beautifully. The aspect ratio is the relationship between the width and height of an image, like 1:1 (square), 4:5 (rectangular), or 16:9 (widescreen). This ratio affects how the artwork appears and fits within different frames. For example, a 1:1 ratio will look balanced and equal on all sides, ideal for square frames, while a 4:5 ratio is more classic and can be used for portraits or landscapes.
Standard print sizes, such as 5x7 (ISO ratio), 8x10 (4:5 ratio), or 16x20 (4:5 ratio) inches, are typically more versatile for framing.
When choosing a print size, consider where the art will be displayed and how much space you have. Understanding aspect ratios and print sizes ensures that your art will look its best and fit perfectly in your chosen frame.
Most digital downloads purchased by me include an art file in every aspect ratio listed above so that you can print it in any size you need!
